Handbuilders Monthly is a subscription-based website published by Maryan and Dan Pelland. An annual subscription is $18. We welcome comments, ideas, and suggestions from readers, no matter your level of experience with clay. About Maryan Pelland and Dan Pelland
HBM Publisher, Maryan Pelland, is a writer, editor, publisher, and mentor with three decades’ professional experience in the publishing industry. She has more than 1,000 by-lined articles online and in print for major publications world-wide. Maryan has written and ghosted a dozen non-fiction books. Recently sort-of-retired, she focuses now on developing content for artists’ and creatives’ websites, like Hand Builders Monthly, and related social media. Many of Maryan’s daylight hours are spent in her home clay studio or at McHenry County College’s outstanding ceramics studio.
